Italian Customs and Cultures

Italian customs and cultures are a lot different than American customs and cultures. While many are interesting to learn, some make us wish we were Italians ourselves.

Italian and American Simalarities and Differences

In a form of greeting, Americans usually say hi or shake hands. On the other hand, Italians have a different form of greeting each other. When Italians greet each other, they kiss each other on the cheek in a sign of recognition for they're friendship.
Also, in Italy, the family is very important. Its a role model for members and also the center of social stucture. However, another important fact about Italian culture is that they think that your first impression is everything. Style is super important and honestly should be part of Americas culture! In Italy, the way you dress defines who you are.
